ADMISSION INFORMATION

SUPPORT STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS: As a 501c3 nonprofit educational organization, individuals and businesses may make tax-deductible donations to sponsor a workshop or class, or to provide scholarship assistance for a student in need. Your donations are gratefully accepted.

NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY: In celebration of Nature’s diversity, all individuals, regardless of race, color, religious or spiritual belief, cultural background, sexual orientation or gender identification, are eligible for admission to our programs.

TUITION INFORMATION: Seats cannot be reserved for a class without receipt of tuition payment (or, in some cases, deposit). Payment plans are accepted only when arranged in advance of the first day of class. Limited scholarship, internship, and educational exchange opportunities are available each semester by application. Students must fulfill financial agreements in order to receive certificates or CEUs.

CANCELLATION POLICY: For long-term courses (Roots of Herbalism, Holistic Nutrition, etc), your deposit is refundable less a $40 administrative fee if cancellation is received more than 7 days prior to class. If a student cancels within 7 days of a class, 50% of your tuition can be applied to a future class less the administrative fee. Refunds cannot be granted after a course begins. Deposits on short-term or one-time courses are nonrefundable within 7 days of the class, except in cases of illness or emergency by documentation. Some courses require a minimum student registration to be held. FSHL reserves the right to cancel courses and refund full tuition to registrants. Tuition can only be accepted by cash or check at the school; students wishing to pay by credit/debit must do so in advance.

HOUSING: FSHL does not provide or secure housing for our students. However, we can provide students a list of possible rentals in the area prior to the start of classes. It is strongly recommended that the student make arrangements as far in advance of the class as possible.

PETS: We can only accommodate assistance pets at our facility.

TRANSPORTATION: Public transportation is available via the Lynx Bus system – routes 28, 29, 30, and 102 serve our immediate area, and several others stop within reasonable walking distance. Bike racks are available; car parking is available in lots in front of our buildings and on the street. Carpool opportunities are often posted at the school.
