Join us to explore African drumming, beginner and intermediate level djembe players. Information about African culture, history, and traditional music use will be infused into the course as the course progresses. Participants will prepare for small performances at the community drum circle at Dandelion and possibly other locations. As the community of students and interest grows we will offer workshops and advanced classes from master African and Latin percussionists as well.
Every Monday 7:00 - 8:30pm

7-7:30 Beginner Warm Up, 7:30-8:30 Beginner & Intermediate Rhythms, Culture, Practice. Drums are available for rental or purchase. Class card must be used within 10 weeks from time of enrollment.
