Roots of Herbalism - Intro to the Art & Science of Botanical Healing (Orlando)   

Roots of Herbalism is a weekend-long intensive course that introduces practical herbalism to both experienced health professionals and lay people alike.  The course empowers students with the knowledge, tools, and experience to further their journey toward natural health and wellness.

Family Herbalist Certification Program   

Our Family Herbalist Certification program is a thirty module course that empowers students to care for the everyday health imbalances they face as a family caretaker.  It is an excellent program for those wishing to care for their children, their parents, and themselves fully and sustainably.   Read here for a program overview, and see our links to individual modules for class dates and descriptions.

Community Herbalist Certification Program   

Many of you have been called by the plants into service. You have been amazed and transformed by the wisdom of the plants, and you desire to share it with those around you. If the green path is speaking to you, then you are student whom the Community Herbalist Program is designed for. The Community Herbalist Program is an intensive journey into the world of professional herbalism (though students who wish to deepen their knowledge for personal use only are still welcomed and encouraged to join us).

Herb Gardening 101: Learn the basics of herb gardening in Florida, including building the soil, water, planting seeds, compost, and more.  Part of our Family Herbalist Certification program.

Family Herbalism Module- Bioregional Herbalism   

Learn about what Goethe called “the spirit of the wild,” while exploring the herbal apothecary growing wild in our backyards and forests. Explore different theories of bioregionalism and their practical application. This module also covers native and naturalized herbs of our Materia Medica.  Part of our Family Herbalist Certification program.

Family Herbalism- Diagnostics for Herbalists   

Diagnostics for Herbalists: With influences from Eastern medicine traditions, discover how the body can express on the surface what lies within. Explore different systems and practical applications.  Part of our Family Herbalist Certification program.

Family Herbalist Module: Herbal Therapeutics for Children's Health   

Herbal Therapeutics are a series of modules in our Family Herbalist Certification program that focus on the anatomy and physiology of body systems, along with Materia Medica corresponding to each system.  This module will cover Materia Medica designed to support Children's Health and be gentle but effective enough to address common childhood illness, and preparations suitable for children.
