Mandy is a garden lover and reverent student of nature, inspired by the embrace of science and spirit. She grew up around farms, gardens and medicine which supported that proverbial seed to be planted at a young age. In 2008, Mandy graduated form the University of Central Florida with a BS in biology, focusing on microbiology and environmental studies, and began work as a microbiologist. A few years later Mandy began studying herbal medicine at the Florida School of Holistic Living and competed the community herbalist program with Emily Ruff (in deep gratitude). She has had the pleasure and blessing to study with many wise healers (of the human and non-human variety) and hopes to continue growing, perceiving and sharing. Bonus facts: Mandy enjoys when she plants a flower and sees a bee on it, philosophical conversations, and the banjo.
