This certificated introductory workshop is designed as hands on introduction to the world of Aromatherapy through the use of essential oils, carrier oils with reference to dried herbs and flowers.
There is a plethora of information both to be found on the market in books and the internet. For many students it is knowing where to begin especially for those new to the subject. The course will equip those wishing to gain knowledge and the important fundamentals of using Essential oils with guides given to the safety issues by way of administration and blending.
By engaging on this course you will gain knowledge from areas such as the production of essential oils and those oils suited to common symptoms that we can treat for personal use. It is beneficial for those who have an interest in using alternative therapies for their general wellness. Included are blends that have been designed with use with other products, allowing you to create those listed in the course and giving you the creativity to make your own. This practical based course encourages you to establish ways of developing your own therapeutic blends for use. Included in the course is a small Quiz, odor tests and Apothecary workbook to be completed for each Activity to be carried out by the student.
An Introduction to Aromatherapy is a beneficial way to accustom yourself to the basics of using essential oils, which may give you the confidence and desire to gain further knowledge in this vast subject area. It is desirable to complete this course prior to enrolling with an advanced aromatherapy class at an established aromatherapy school. Please see tutor for further information.

Mary Samantha Reilly is an aromatherapist that seeks to provide aromatherapy education both as online and live courses. She wishes to reach to communities to those looking to expand their knowledge in the use of essential oils through her courses. She is also a trained massage therapist in the state of Florida which allowed her to teach hands on aromatherapy massage and Aroma-reflexology to both licensed massage and those wishing to gain knowledge on techniques used within these modalities.
Mary has had a qualification at Diploma level in both massage and Beauty therapy (Cosmetology), Holistic & Complimentary Therapies, plus teaching degree (B.A) and has taught for over fourteen years. In this time, she has worked both in Spas and in a college for higher Education, where she was a lecturer in various modalities in the U.K.

Welcome to our main campus. During weekdays, parking is available in the two spots in front of our building, or streetside along Thornton Avenue and Concord Street (south side of Concord only). After 5 pm and on weekends, all six spots in our lot are available, as well as the lot behind our office. Please plan accordingly.
