Want to serve something different at your next beach outing, pool or backyard party? How about adding herbs to your beverages!!! In this class we will try several samples of the fun and delicious ways to incorporate herbs into drink recipes. You will leave this class with recipes, knowledge and techniques needed to make your own creative herb filled drinks at home. We will have an opportunity to taste Lavender Lemonade, Herbal Hi-C Tea and an Elderberry Shrub in the class. Nina will also offer you some of the many other ways to combine herbs to create some very special beverages. The possibilities are endless. Join us once a month to learn how to make time-tested herbal remedies! Each month, we will focus on a different preparation and demonstrate methods for making medicine in your own kitchen. We will examine different extraction methods, learn best applications for various remedies, and devote time to preparing herbal products. You will go home feeling more confident about your own medicine making skills and be equipped with recipes and resources to make herbal remedies at home for years to come.

Instructor Nina DiCristina
Nina is a practicing herbalist in Orlando, FL. She’s been studying herbalism and holistic health since 2008, and is a graduate of the Community Herbalist program at the Florida School of Holistic Living. She’s been grateful to study with Emily Ruff, Rosemary Gladstar, and Guido Masé. She has taught at the Florida School of Holistic Living, Sage Mountain Retreat Center, and Ground Floor Farm. A seeker of knowledge, she studies mythology, ethnobotany, and anthropology in her spare time. She is a scorpio, ISFP, slytherin, swamp bending, plant person.

Welcome to our main campus. During weekdays, parking is available in the two spots in front of our building, or streetside along Thornton Avenue and Concord Street (south side of Concord only). After 5 pm and on weekends, all six spots in our lot are available, as well as the lot behind our office. Please plan accordingly.
