Roots of Herbalism Home Study Course

The Roots of Herbalism home study course explores the philosophies of ecological Herbalism, the practices of herbal nutrition, and the foundations of holistic health.  Students learn to make their own herbal preparations, including tisanes and tinctures, to apply the knowledge they learn about the plants through a DVD, course workbook, textbook, and herb materials. Students explore over twenty herbs and their uses and receive a full packet of materials including sample herbs to have everything needed to learn about herbs hands-on from home.

Family Herbalist Program Fall 2023

Our Family Herbalist Program empowers students to care for the everyday health imbalances they face through a comprehensive herbal curriculum. It is an excellent program for those wishing to serve as their family’s primary care provider, to prevent illness, and help alleviate both acute and chronic conditions, through holistic and sustainable approaches.

Dates: One weekend a month, September through December, 2023
September 9-10, 2023
October 14-15, 2023
November 11-12, 2023
December 9-10, 2023 - Final Medicine Making and Graduation

Times: 10am - 6pm / Saturday and Sunday

Location: Orlando, FL
Classes take place at our registered United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary. Due to the location of this sanctuary being within a private residence, the exact address will be sent via correspondence only after registration and closer to when the program begins. For finding accommodations if you’re coming from out of town, search zip codes: 32801, 32803, and 32804 to find places to stay that are nearby.
