Perspectives on Sexuality are dependent on many factors, including societal customs and norms that evolve throughout the ages. While sexual attitudes have evolved throughout history, the role of genes, hormones, the nervous system, and other biological factors is an important consideration. Modern scientific data that supports in depth testing goes beyond standard estradiol, progesterone and testosterone levels, to include an array of complex hormone metabolites, and an in depth understanding of their complexity and interactivity. Accurate measurement and analysis can go a long way to help establish a natural protocol to support sexual health.

We will review a variety of natural therapeutics, supplements and herbs used as traditional remedies, as well as modern scientific investigation that supports their use.

Herbs will include: Damiana, Saw Palmetto, Ashwagandha, Ginseng , Maca, and Tongkat Ali

Objectives:

Attendees will consider the role of societal norms in terms of sexual attitudes and sexual wellness

Attendees will list 4 hormone levels that are important to consider when assessing sexual health.

Attendees will describe the role supplementation with topical hormone applications and botanical remedies can play to support sexual wellness
