Portrait Bold JourneyErica Marie Coston, Clinical Canine Herbalist, Master Animal Reiki Practitioner and University of Florida graduate, has been practicing dog herbalism since 2018. Her journey began while working at a veterinary office in Tennessee, where she recognized the growing need for natural alternatives to support dogs’ health.

What started as a small herbal tea brand for dogs, Pawsitivitea, quickly evolved when she realized that herbs aren’t a one-size-fits-all solution. To ensure optimal results and safety, she began offering individualized herbal consulting alongside her handcrafted remedies- marking the true beginning of Dog Herbalist. Today, Dog Herbalist serves dogs and their humans around the world.

Erica Marie studied at the Florida Holistic School of Living in 2019 and soon began a five-year apprenticeship under renowned Canine Herbalist Rita Hogan. Today, her work centers on bridging dogs and their humans with herbs and energy therapy- a calling she views as both her passion and divine purpose.

Believing dogs deserve a voice in their own wellness journey, Erica Marie is dedicated to being that bridge- helping their humans understand, honor, and support them through the language of plants and heart-centered connection.

Now living in her “dream” homeland of Vermont, Erica Marie finds balance and inspiration through plant spirit connection, her soul-dog Thor, and raising two little humans – all of which keep her grounded and heart-led.
